COVID Updates
As COVID cases continue to rise in our county, Foggy Pine Books remains committed to keeping our staff & customers as safe as possible. For this reason, we have postponed all in-person events until further notice and the store is closed to walk-in traffic. Though we are closed to the public, we are still accepting and encouraging orders over the phone (828) 386-1219, via email, or on our website. Free Media Mail shipping, local delivery within the Town of Boone, and curbside pick-up, and our new drive thru window are all contact-less options available to make getting your books as easy as possible.

Foggy Pine Books was lucky enough to be chosen by their research team to be featured in an ad they created for us. They showed it Sunday, February 8th after the Super Bowl. We knew it was going to happen but hadn't seen the ad and didn't know what it consisted of until that night.
Since Sunday night, we have been flooded with orders, phone calls, and emails from well wishers & folks looking for books. We are so incredibly grateful for this opportunity and are overwhelmed with excitement to work with all you new readers! To be completely honest, it has felt a little bit like winning the lottery.
All that said, our staff started out this week with just 3 people and we have all been working as much as possible to process your orders & emails. We have already hired a couple new booksellers and have brought some volunteers in to assist us in various ways. We are working as much and as quickly as we can to get orders out the door and into eager hands. However, the sheer number of requests we've received in just 24 hours means that it's going to take us a while, even with all this extra help, to process everything. Emails will also be taking some time but we intend to respond to everyone! If you have any questions about your order or issues with the website, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at 828-386-1219.
